Round 8

B grade

With the first week wash out due to rain, the game was converted to a one day match. East’s played Macedon who finished 8/116 from their overs. Chris Watson and Matty Jackson were the pick of the bowlers taking three wickets each. East’s chase down the score with Chris Watson making 72* and forcing their way in to the top four.

D grade

East took on Bacchus Marsh in a one day match with the first week washed out. East set a total of 233 with James Williams 84 and Shaun Cedelland 47. East bowled well again and keep Bacchus Marsh to 6/143 with Tim Wollington and Patty Penticoss both getting two wickets. D grade stay undefeated and will turn after Christmas on top of the ladder, well done boys !!!

F Grade

This being the only game at East Sunbury that was not washed out as we took on Lancefield, after a ripper bowling performance keeping Lancefield to 159 with Mitch Williams the pick of the bowlers taking three wickets. East chase down the score with Mark Wilkins 43 and Pedro Bogdanovic 56* East’s chase down the runs to cement a spot in the four turning in to Christmas

H Grade

East travelled to St Anthony’s with a young side and few pulling out in the morning this left H grade open to a top four side being bowled out for 34 and St Anthony’s chasing this down only 1 wicket down.
